They have a subcap fleet? Bring a capital fleet. They have a capital fleet? Bring a super fleet. They have a super fleet? Bring an subcap fleet. Maybe in another ten years we'll give this model a chance.
Real fleet comps where evey ship matters. That's the EvE I want to play. |

This is absolutely shameful. CCP makes a change that revamps the meta and then takes it back a month later saying "we're still looking at it." This just isn't acceptable. The only reason CCP can get away with this ludicrous behavior is their cult following. No other company could survive making these kinds of mistakes.
CCP, get your **** together. |

The new changes to fighter application and damage seem to be trying to reduce fighter effectiveness against fast ships in favor of more sustained damage against slow ships. The problem with that is it rolls carriers' roles into a field already dominated by HAW dreads while drastically diminishing all capitals' effectiveness against cruiser-down speed fleets.
Carriers should be vulnerable to focused fire from large, heavily tanked and armed ships like battlecruisers, brawly ahacs, battleships, and especially dreadnaughts while retaining their niche as capable counters to tackle and kitey ships.
A better fix would have been to make light fighters more reliant on their rocket salvos. They should be the tackle-clearing counter to the high speed ships that dreads can't keep up with (which they were).
